Tools need maintenance!

Dear Sneeboer fans,

Now that autumn has arrived, the leaves are falling from the trees and the temperature (in the Netherlands) is very slowly dropping, the time has come to spend less time taking care of the garden and start taking care of your garden tools.

To ensure that you are able to work comfortably in your garden during spring you need good, clean and sharp garden tools. Sneeboer has created a dedicated maintenance kit with which you can take the proper care of your tools so they will survive the winter with ease.

This sustainable maintenance kit contains all the essential items to keep your Sneeboer garden tools in excellent condition. The box holds a tool sharpener, a copper-plated wire brush, a bottle with boiled linseed oil and a cloth which the oil can be applied. All these items are delivered in a luxurious wooden box. We have printed the instructions for you and put these in the box but these are stated below as well.

The copper-plated wire brush is useful for removing dirt from the blade and handles.

The tool sharpener features a silicon-carbide whetstone which enables you to create a sharp edge on your blade and allows you to remove burrs. The ergonomic handle is made from beechwood and offers a comfortable grip during sharpening.

The boiled linseed oil is there to coat the handles which will protect the wood against the weather. The oil can be rubbed in with the cloth that is provided with the set.

Finally, you can store the tools with our tool rack for hand tools and for larger tools.
