2010-2016: Sneeboer becomes “Royal Court Supplier” during our 100 year anniversary and the workshop is expanded again
Despite the global financial crisis in 2009, it became apparent that the workshop in Bovenkarspel was becoming too small for all the activities. This workshop was built in 1993 but the addition of many machines meant that every m² was soon occupied. Consequently, the decision was made to to expand and in 2010 the first pile of the expansion was driven into the ground by the Dutch politician Fred Teeven.
During this period, a lot of effort was put into receiving the designation “Purveyor to the Royal Household”. This work was rewarded with an approval in 2012 making us a “Royal Court Supplier” and thus Royal Sneeboer!
Fortunately, the expansion of the workshop was completed in time for us to celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2013! In honor of this celebration and becoming “Purveyor to the Royal Court,” Jaap Sneeboer has developed the Royal Dutch Hoe. A very versatile hoe that is widely sold around the world. In addition, Jaap Sneeboer developed the most exclusive garden tool line in the world when he presented his Sneeboer Titanium tool line. These hand tools are made of a special titanium alloy, making them the most exclusive garden tools on the planet!
