Collecting and Using Personal Data

We would like to inform you that we collect and use the personal data you provide to us because it is necessary for entering into and performing a contract with you. Below, we explain this in more detail.

If you are a (potential) customer, we use your data to communicate with you about our products, to deliver your order(s), to efficiently handle your purchases, to manage any repairs, returns or complaints, to make shopping in our online store easier for you, and to send you newsletters.

Creating an Account

You can create an account when shopping via our online store. This is not required, but it is convenient if you place orders more frequently. During registration, we ask for your personal data (name and address). You can also provide default billing and shipping addresses. This speeds up checkout, allows you to view your order history, and easily update your personal details. We process this personal data for your account only with your consent. If your account remains inactive for 12 months, we will delete it.

Contact Form and Email Correspondence

Our website includes a contact form. You can also send us an email to the address listed on the website. In both cases, we will retain the data you send as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.

Marketing Emails

If you have given us permission, we will use your personal data to inform you via email about our current and new products and to send special offers. Each marketing email will contain an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at [email protected] at any time to unsubscribe from our newsletters.

Not Obligated to Provide Data

You are not required to provide us with personal data. However, if you do not, we may not be able to offer certain services or fulfill agreements.

Retention Period

We retain customer data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which our agreement was fully executed. This period aligns with our obligation to keep records for tax purposes. After this period, we will delete your data.

If you provided personal data during the ordering process but did not complete a purchase, we will retain your data for 3 days.

Sharing with Third Parties

1. Delivery Service
   In order to fulfill our agreement with you, it may be necessary to share your personal data with the shipping company. This allows your order to be delivered. We have a legitimate interest in outsourcing this task.
2. Server Provider, Microsoft Office
   We use an external server for storing (parts of) our sales administration and customer database, which includes your personal data. We also use Microsoft Office and associated storage solutions for emails and other files.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data. If necessary, you may also ask us to correct or supplement your data. You also have the right to request the deletion of your data or to restrict its use. Additionally, you may object to the use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Finally, you may request a copy of your data or have it transferred to another party.
