The stone spade with steps was designed after an idea by English rose grower John Scarman and is available in several variants. The stone spade with an ashwood T-handle of 90 or 100cm, the stone spade with an ashwood D-handle or the stone spade fitted with slots in the blade, which prevent soil from sticking, also with an ashwood T-handle of 90cm.

The stone spade with steps is ideal for transplanting roses, shrubs and other bushes in stony soil. The sharply ground teeth in the blade offer a very large cutting line, allowing roses and rooted beds to be worked easily. Due to the special serration, the cutting line is 30% larger compared to a normal spade.
