The RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London is every year’s highlight for garden lovers worldwide. From spectacular floral displays to sustainable, innovative garden products: from May 21 to 25, 2025, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) once again celebrated the best of the gardening world. This year was extra special for Sneeboer. With incredible pride, we won the award for ‘Sustainable Garden Product of the Year 2025’!

Sneeboer wins prestigious award at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show brings thousands of visitors together every year. Everyone is inspired by stunning gardens, expert horticulture, and groundbreaking products. For Sneeboer, participating is always a celebration. In 2025, we received an amazing recognition for our work: our Garden Scoop won the title Sustainable Garden Product of the Year. The jury praised the innovative design, the laser-welded forging technique (which requires up to 30% less energy), and the use of circular wood. The handles are crafted from leftover wood that would otherwise go to waste.

We also received a nomination for Sustainable Business of the Year. That feels like a tremendous honor. This recognition confirms our commitment to ethical and environmentally conscious business practices. The main prize just slipped away from us. Still, the nomination proves that Sneeboer operates sustainably. We continue to invest in induction energy, solar panels, and circular materials. Step by step, we reduce our ecological footprint.

Garden Scoop: the sustainable all-rounder

The award-winning Garden Scoop unites craftsmanship with innovation. We choose sustainable materials and design our production process entirely for energy savings and waste reduction. Thanks to the laser-welded forging technique, we save up to 30% energy. The tool is both robust and lightweight. For the handles, we use circular wood from residual streams.

The Garden Scoop excels at precision work. Measuring out compost and mulch in pots and borders is effortless. With the integrated saw edge, you can easily open a compost bag. The jury valued not only the smart design but also the aesthetics and comfort. The result? A genuine Sneeboer tool.

Our story gained much attention. During the show, the BBC interviewed us. In the Chelsea special of BBC Gardeners’ World, we talked about the making process, our sustainable vision, and the Sneeboer family tradition. This allowed us to share our work, our mission, and the award-winning scoop with a large audience.

Prototype compost scoop & other innovations

The Garden Scoop was not our only highlight. Visitors at our stand also tested the prototype of the new compost scoop. This light, strong scoop makes composting easier and more enjoyable. Its ergonomic design and sustainable production fit perfectly within our collection. We received a lot of feedback during the show. This input helps us develop products that contribute to a greener future.
