The plant digger is ideal for digging in harder soil, dividing plants in the autumn and making planting holes. The blade is forged, tapers to a point and is sharpened to a razor’s edge on both sides, allowing the plant spade to be driven into the ground with great force and precision. The plant spade is incredibly effective for digging in difficult soil types such as clay.
