The ground elder fork is specifically designed to remove ground elder, of which the root system grows shallow below the surface of the soil. The sharp and bent teeth are shaped in a V which can turn over the soil with ease to loosen the roots of the plant. More information

The ground elder fork was created after a request by the Hortus in the Dutch city of Leiden, which was looking for a way to remove the stubborn ground elder. This ingenious tool is the result of that request. Besides this specific function, the ground elder fork can be used to transplant small plants and to harvest crops in the vegetable garden such as potatoes, onions and garlic.
