With the Royal Hoe, you can easily remove weeds without having to bend over. This innovative take on the hoe was designed in collaboration with renowned rose grower John Scarman and differs from a standard hoe in both shape and use. The Royal Hoe was developed in 2013, the year of our 100th anniversary, and was nominated that same year for Garden Product of the Year at the 2013 RHS Chelsea Flower Show!

The Royal Hoe features three unique innovations, each of which plays a role in how the hoe is used. For example, the blade has teeth at the front, the rear part of the blade tapers to a point, and the handle of the Royal Hoe is tapered.

Description

  1. The serrations on the hoe blade ensure even more effective weed removal, even in heavier soil types. Thanks to these serrations, the Royal Hoe also offers greater precision when hoeing than a standard hoe.
  2. The back of the blade tapers to a point, making it easy to remove weeds with a pulling motion. This allows you to remove weeds without leaving footprints that could encourage weed growth.
  3. The handle of the Royal Hoe is tapered. This creates a narrower section on the handle, allowing for even more precise two-handed work.

In addition, the Royal Hoe is lighter than a standard hoe, making it even easier to handle.
