The blade of the spade is curved along its length to prevent breakage. In addition, the blade is mounted at the ideal angle to the handle, making the spade easier to use. The narrow spade has a blade that is 28.5 cm long and 11.5 cm wide. Due to the shape and angle of the blade, the spade is well-suited for digging into the ground, not for shoveling. The narrow spade comes with an ash wood handle.
