The Great Dixter fork is one of the tools we market under the “Great Dixter” name. Sneeboer is, in fact, the only manufacturer in the world authorized to market certain tools under this name. For every Great Dixter tool sold, we donate a portion of the proceeds to the Great Dixter Charitable Trust. We are therefore pleased to be able to contribute in this way to the preservation of English cultural heritage.
Great Dixter Fork

The Great Dixter fork was designed by Christopher Lloyd, an English writer and owner of The Great Dixter. Thanks to its compact shape, this fork makes it possible to work the soil between plants in densely planted borders. The middle tine of the fork is slightly longer than the outer tines, allowing the fork to be rotated around this tine so that compost and self-seeding plants are distributed more evenly. The 125-centimeter ash wood handle ensures that you can perform all this work while standing.
