Our products carry a 1-year warranty on the wooden handles and a 50-year warranty on the steel, stainless steel or titanium parts. If you have any questions or wish to claim under the warranty terms and conditions, please send an e-mail with photo of the tool to <a href=\"mailto:sales@sneeboer.com\">sales@sneeboer.com<\/a> or contact your <a href=\"\/en\/dealers\">closest Sneeboer dealer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we offer a replacement tool, we will try our best to offer the same tool. If this is not possible, we will offer an alternative but similar tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under these guarantee conditions, we cannot cover the following damages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Normal wear of the parts, lost or missing parts or any product that has been modified or altered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damage as a result of incorrect use of a product, i.e., when a tool is damaged after being used in a way that it is not designed for. For example, when a spade is used as a crowbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the tool has damage because it has not been maintained properly. Please go to the <a href=\"\/en\/dealers\">Dealer locator<\/a> on this website and find your nearest Sneeboer retailer. Alternatively, please send an email to <a href=\"mailto:sales@sneeboer.com\">sales@sneeboer.com<\/a>. We would prefer to receive a photo of the broken tool and a short description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then you will receive an answer by e-mail from us with the suggested repair and price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step is sending us your tool; don\u2019t forget to add your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address! After payment of the invoice, the tool will be repaired and sent back. This way, handles will maintain their appearance, won\u2019t dry out, and dirt will not stick to the wood. Even the stainless steel parts can be treated with linseed oil. That way, dirt will also not stick to the blade of a spade, rake, or hand tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to maintain your tools in 4 steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details\"><summary><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\">Step 1: Clean them<\/h4><\/summary>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-full wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">First, remove pieces of dirt and rust with a hard brush (we have specially created our beautiful Sneeboer brush from brass for this purpose). This is important to stop the spreading of any diseases. When you have steel tools, you can also treat the larger blades with rough sandpaper. We recommend using our own developed tool sharpener, which is very suitable for this work. Only sharpen the sloping cutting edge and ensure that you maintain the angle of the sloping part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-full wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><em>Hint:<\/em> Never sharpen our tools with electric sharpeners. But remember, the better care you take of your tools, the longer they will last. Keep tools with wooden handles dry after using them, out of the sun, and be careful with extreme temperatures and variations in humidity.
